Repeated fly problems in your business can

Commercial and residential structures provide
many opportunities for fruit flies and drain
flies to flourish, including food handling
and food processing areas in homes, restaurants,
hotels, and food plants.
- Flies can reproduce and survive on only
tiny amounts of organic debris.
- Most of this debris is hidden from our
view and from our daily cleaning routine.
- For example, where the legs of appliances,
tables or cabinets touch the floor and
in drains, retaining moisture and food
debris.
- Thousands of fly larvae can harbor in
these tiny spaces.
- Fruit and Drain Flies have amazing reproductive
capabilities
- Each female fruit fly lays about 500
eggs. Within 10 days they reach
maturity, and after 1 month you could have
over 3 million fruit flies!
To truly eliminate fruit flies and drain flies,
the source of their infestation must be removed
or the problem will keep coming back. In
many cases, this can be done without using
any chemicals.
- Horizon targets areas conducive to breeding
- Drains, areas under appliances and other
areas susceptible to standing water and
accumulation of food debris.
- Thorough cleaning of these areas using
a high-pressure power washer is done to
remove debris and other matter that flies
feed on.
- Horizon offers additional treatments, such
as space treating with drain gel, bio-foaming,
and microbial and enzymatic cleaners, for
a faster knockdown of severe infestations.
- Service is recommended twice monthly until
control is reached, and then monthly to prevent
any reoccurrence.
Please note - this service must be done
outside of normal business hours, since it
