  • Horizon Celebrating 40th Anniversary!40 Years of Pest Control in New Jersey

    • It's hard to believe that it's been 40 years! In 1970 Bernie Holst Jr. founded Horizon in Midland Park, New Jersey and laid the foundation for service excellence at Horizon, "Let our family take care of your family." This simple concept is what truly sets Horizon apart from its competition: We treat every home and every business as if it were our own. Horizon remains successful because of its continued dedication to the Horizon family...its family, its employees, its clients and its community.

      You can look forward to a year full of exciting New Jersey pest control promotions and event to celebrate our 40 years of business. As we like to say, 'We're not great because we're older; we're older because we're GREAT!'

    • Super Science Saturday, the annual exhibition dedicated to showcasing the latest student and professional work in the world of science. This year we are devoted to making Super Science Saturday the most memorable to date and that involves you! Use this site to find ways to get involved as a volunteer or check out our kids section for fun games and project ideas. You can also find a list of this year’s confirmed presenters or a history of Super Science Saturday. But most importantly, remember, on March 6th, 2010, Super Science Saturday will be the place to be!

  • What is a BLOG, and why do we have one?!

    • Blogs may be comprised of news, commentary, diary-like passages or some combination of all three, but the defining characteristic of a blog is always chronological order. Whenever a writer creates a new post, it appears on the page directly above the last post. This allows visitors to read the most recent happenings first and scroll down to as many later entries as they like. Suffice it to say, we are definitely in the infancy stages of blogging, but we're learning quickly. It's a great place for you to give us your feedback and thoughts, as well as learn more about our corporate culture!
